TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) – A car bomb blast in the northern Syrian city of Afrin has killed at least five people and injured 10 others.

According to the Syrian sources, a car bomb had exploded on Monday in the northern Syrian city of Afrin, killing at least five people and wounding 10 others.

The blast occurred near Kawa Square in downtown Afrin, destroying surrounding buildings.

No further details were provided.
