TEHRAN, Sept.15 (Mehr News Agency) -- The book of Persian-Uzbek common proverbs was published in Uzbekistan by Iran's Cultural Office in Uzbekistan.

Some 400 proverbs, common words and street talk in Persian and Uzbek are compiled in the book.
 
The book has been jointly compiled by Ebrahim Khodayar and Shohrat Mohammadov with a view to familiarizing the two nations with their common proverbs.

"Selection of Dehkhoda's Proverbs" written by Farajollah Sharifi Golpaygani was used as a source in compiling the 120-page pocket book.
