Constructive talks were held in this regard in the past few weeks, he said, adding that in an upcoming meeting with Omani officials, a document will be finalized which will determine the framework of cooperation and responsibilities of the two sides. He added that the document will serve as a tender which is expected to be held for the pipeline.
He went on to say that a foreign company has shown interest in participating in the gas pipeline project.
The capital needed for launching this project stands at between $600-$800 million, he said, adding that the implementation of the project requires about two years' time.
