Iranian Ambassador to London Hamid Baeidinejad, in a tweet on Thursday, broke the news, saying that the embassy has submitted a letter to IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim to protest at the reposition of the unlawful US sanctions.

The official added that Iran will not stop its maritime activities just because of the US’s sanctions, adding that Washington will be responsible for any incident.
The move comes in line with the US’s aim at at cutting Iran's sales of oil to zero.
