TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – Alireza Jahangiri, the Iranian ambassador to The Hague, said those who are talking to other countries' nation with the language of sanctions are wrong and will never achieve their goals.

Alireza Jahangiri, during a meeting with the Dutch elites who had traveled to Iran in a cultural tour, pointed to the impact of Iran's civilization and tourism places, and said the Islamic civilization, culture, hospitality and friendliness of the Iranians, as well as the beautiful nature attract every foreign visitor, and those who have traveled to Iran, acknowledge that, saying they had been influenced by propaganda disseminated from international media against the Islamic Republic.

"You, the elites who have seen Iran, acknowledge that the great nation of Iran deserves to be respected, however, unfortunately, there are some people who still talk to Iranian people with the language of pressure and sanctions, while they are making a big mistake and will not achieve their goals," he noted.

Jahangiri added that the tourists who have traveled to Iran can very well feel that sanctioning airlines or canceling flights only hurt the Iranian nation and all travelers who want to get acquainted with Iran and its beauties.

He underlined that one of the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to develop tourism, adding that the embassy supports the tours of other countries to Iran.
