TEHRAN, Nov. 05 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Mohamamd Javad Zarif is set to attend a Parliament’s open session today to answer lawmakers’ questions on foreign policy issues.

Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh, a member of the governing board of the Parliament, said the top diplomat will be questioned by six lawmakers, including Hossein-Ali Haji-Deligani, the representative of Shahin Shahr, on three issues.

He did not refer to the questions, however, during a Sunday open session, Ahmad Amirabadi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s presiding board, said Zarif would be questioned on issues on foreign policy, including the lack of positioning against the ongoing crackdown on Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, and the Foreign Ministry’s measures against the US’s vicious stance on protest rallies for economic issues, which occurred in some Iranian cities back in January.
