TEHRAN, Jul. 26 (MNA) – Iranian Vice-President for Legal Affairs Laya Joneydi in a meeting with an Indonesian delegation from the country’s Audit Board voiced readiness to impart legal and judicial experiences with the Southeast Asian nation.

The meeting took place on Thursday in Tehran, during which the Iranian vice-president called for further cooperation in the economic, political and cultural sectors, and urged the implementation of bilateral agreements between Iran and Indonesia as soon as possible.

The two countries have good cooperation in all international and regional organizations, and improving the level of such cooperation can have a considerable impact on global developments, she added.

Joneydi also called for more activity in the Iran-Indonesia’s Joint Economic Commission, which could boost cooperation in development of oil fields and preferential tariffs.

The member of the Audit Board of Indonesia, for her part, hailed the level of legal cooperation between Tehran and Jakarta, voicing keen interest to further increase such cooperation.

“No doubt, the expansion of legal cooperation between Iran and Indonesia can facilitate relations in other sectors, particularly in trade and commerce,” she added.
