The draft of EU’s proposed package is provided available to the senior diplomats at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, he maintained.
For this reason, the proposed package was supposed to be returned to Europe for making reforms and corrections on its provisions, Hassan-Beygi reiterated.
Turning to the EU proposed package, he said, “all senior officials of the country have lodged their protest against the details of the package and have called on Europe to make necessary corrections on some of its provisions since it [draft] does not secure interests of the country.”
He, who is the representative of people of Damghan in Iranian Parliament, added, “the package has been provided available to senior Iranian diplomats, so that diplomats at the Foreign Ministry are duty bound to renegotiate with Europe in order to maintain interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran fully.”
People’s Republic of China has announced that it will cooperate with Iran within the framework of international rules and regulations, he said, adding, “moreover, Russia has also voiced its readiness to interact with Iran in this regard.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, he reiterated, “if, under such circumstances, Europeans want to consider interests of US government using psychological war, certainly, Islamic Republic of Iran will not accept this issue.”
To achieve the desired result, European Union (EU) must take interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran into serious consideration, he said, adding, “we want other countries to observe and respect international laws governing all countries not the rules which are considered by a country merely.”
