TEHRAN, Jul. 10 (MNA) – Iranian Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire Mansour Shakibmehr and the African country’s National Assembly President Guillaume Soro met on Tuesday in Abdijan, and highlighted the need to expand parliamentary ties.

Shakibmehr extended greetings of Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani to Soro.

Touching upon parliamentary relations between the two countries in recent years, he highlighted the need to further boost cooperation.

Soro, for his part, pointed to the history of relations between the two nations and also to his visit to Tehran.

He officially invited Ali Larijani to visit Abidjan.

Referring to Iran’s great capabilities in different areas, Soro emphasized cementing parliamentary ties.
