The visit is made upon the official invitation of Vienna.
President of the Islamic Republic of Iran is scheduled to meet with the Chancellor and archbishop of Austria and address the meeting of chambers of commerce of Iran and Austria.
The official welcoming ceremony is going to be held on Wednesday at Hofburg Palace with Austrian president Van der Bellen in attendance.
Rouhani, along with his delegation, was welcomed by his Swiss President Alain Berset upon arrival at Zurich international airport on Monday. During his visit, a number of agreements and declarations of intent were signed by the officials of the two countries.
