TEHRAN, Jun. 16 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament's General Director for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Sat. the Saudi-led blockade on Yemen is aimed at forcing Yemeni people to give up.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks on his Twitter account, saying “under KSA-UAE-US-Zionists’ occupying war against Yemenis, humanitarian disaster is rife.”

The Iranian official added “the invaders lost Yemen battlefield, but want to compel Yemenis to give up by occupying Hudaida and cutting their bread&water.”

At the end of his post, he stressed “future would belong to Yemenis and Yemen would be quagmire for the invaders.”

Amir-Abdollahian's message comes at a time when the reports coming out from Yemen say that the Saudi and UAE- led coalition have besieged the vital port city of Hudaida, killing and wounding hundreds of innocent people.
