Mahmoud Vaezi was speaking to reporters on Wednesday after attending a cabinet meeting.
Vaezi said that Hassan Rouhani has been invited by the President of FIFA to attend the opening ceremony of the upcoming World Cup in Russia but he is unlikely go there due to his busy schedule at the time.
In response to another question regarding the ongoing talks with the Europeans after the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, he said that after the Iranian negotiators finished their talks with Europe, China and Russia, they presented a report to President Hassan Rouhani, adding there are regular meeting between the president and the nuclear negotiators.
The Chief of Staff of Iran's president said that Iranian president will visit China during the current Iranian month which ends on June 21.
In response to a question about the possible future visits of the President Rouhani to Switzerland and Austria, he said they have received suggestions from those two countries, but they have to look into suggestions to see if Rouhani can plan for the visits after the holy month of Ramadan.
