TEHRAN, May 05 (MNA) – Ferit Orhan Pamuk, Turkish novelist, screenwriter, academic and recipient of the 2006 Nobel Prize in Literature, will visit Iran this week to attend the 31st edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) in Tehran.

Pamuk’s trip to Iran is upon the invitation of Qoqnoos Publishing Group and has been scheduled for three days.

During his visit to Iran, Pamuk is slated to visit Tehran International Book Fair and to hold meetings with some Iranian authors and translators.

The 31st edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) has kicked off at Imam Khomeini Musalla on May 1, in the presence of Iranian Culture Minister Abbas Salehi and Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Vladan Vukosavljević. The event was officially open to the public on Wednesday and will last for two weeks, wrapping up on May 12.
