TEHRAN, August 19 (Mehr News Agency) -- It makes no difference what season it is; swimming in the mineral waters of hot springs is favorite in every season.

A thick cloud of steam wavering on the Sarein's hot springs creates a breathtaking atmosphere for tourists who have come to swim in the mineral waters. Cool fresh breeze of the region and hotness of the springs wipe mental and physical pains off your body.

Laid in the skirt of Mount Sabalan, Sarein is one of Ardebil Province's major tourist destinations.

Summertime leisure provides the people with an opportunity to move from any corner of Iran and the world toward the resort, astonishing and attracting them with its cool weather and hot water streaming and sprouting out from the earth's heart.

Clouds almost touching the ground and cool weather of the region takes one to the autumn cold weather.

"Swimming in the hot spring is exhilarating when you feel cold getting out of the springs," said Shahram Borhani, a tourist coming from Fars Province, south of Iran.

"I didn’t know there was a place in our country whose summer is as cold as my city in winter," said Mohammad Dashti, a travel-maker from the tropical-climate Hormozgan provincial capital Bandar Abbas, adding, "This astounded me."

A tourist from the Iranian desert city, Semnan said, "My family and I avail ourselves of hte opportunity to enjoy the pleasant weather."

Temperature of Sarein is usually 5 centigrade below Ardebil, because of its mountainous climate.

More than 5.3m foreign and domestic tourists travel to Sarein in a year to enjoy swimming in the hot springs and to visit its unique natural attractions.
