TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (MNA) – The Council of Ministers convened on Sunday and discussed a number of articles of the budget bill of year 1397.

Some of the articles were approved, based on which the National Iranian Gas Company was tasked with reconstruction and reinforcement of gas supply pipelines to cities and villages.

The government was also obliged to pay its debts to the private sector, cooperatives and non-governmental institutions.

The cabinet also agreed to allocate $200 million from the National Development Fund of Iran for supporting knowledge-based companies.

Other articles such as foreign exchange loans to private sector investors, transport, tax exemption, construction machines, irrigation systems, and blood money.

Other articles of the budget bill were postponed to later sessions of the cabinet.
