TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani arrived in Kermanshah Province in Western Iran where a Nov. 12 tremor claimed the lives of around 500 and left around 9000 homeless.

In a bid to pay visit to the earthquake hit regions in western Province Kermanshah of Iran, the Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani travelled to the region and arrived at the capital of the province early on Sunday.

Last Sunday, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Iranian western Province Kermanshah and 530 were killed. The tragedy left around 9000 homeless in dire need of food, electricity, and warming clothes.  

Attending the service ceremony commemorating the victims of the catastrophe is among the objectives of Larijani’s visit to Kermanshah. The service will kick off at 03:00 p.m. local time at the central mosque of Kermanshah.
