TEHRAN, Oct. 25 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif, who is visiting Uganda after leaving South Africa on Tuesday, met with Ugandan president Museveni in Ugandan capital city of Kampala on Wednesday.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who is currently touring African countries met with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni in Ugandan capital city of Kampala, on Wednesday.

Discussion over bilateral ties, and exchange of views about regional and international developments were the agenda of the meeting.

Mr. Zarif arrived in Kampala late on Tuesday and was warmly welcomed by the local authorities and the Iranian ambassador to Uganda at the airport.

Before meeting with President Museveni, the Iranian top diplomat met with Ugandan Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa.

Uganda is the second stop of the Iranian minister in his three-nation-tour of Africa which was started in South Africa and will be concluded in Niger as the last destination of his African tour.
