TEHRAN, Oct. 24 (MNA) – The head of international relations department of the Interior Ministry Ramezan Shoja’ei Kiasari held talks with the officials of Germany’s Interior Ministry, concerning matters of mutual interest between the two countries.

The managing director of Iranian Interior Ministry's Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants (BAFIA), Ahmad Mohammadi-Far, and Deputy Head of Iran's Anti-Drug Headquarters Assadollah Hadinejad were also present at the meeting.

The two sides discussed effective cooperation on the fight against terrorism, organized crime, and drugs, and exchanged views on ways to coordinate foreign nationals and cooperation in the case of unforseen incidents.

Iranian and German officials expressed willingness to form expert committees in order to follow up on the negotiations, and assess new cooperation potentials between the interior ministries of the two countries. They also voiced readiness to further develop bilateral ties between the two ministries.
