TEHRAN, Sep. 24 (MNA) – The current Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel who has been the ruling body of Berlin for the last 12 years, is going to clutch to office for the fourth term.

After days of speculation, the general election in Germany was held on Monday while the exit polls show that the incumbent Angela Merkel from the Christian Democratic Union is heading the votes with a 13% dip in comparison with her 2013 victory.

On the other hand, the polls also show that the anti-immigrant far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) has won some 13.5 percent of the vote, which will end a 60 year absence of far-right parties represented in the Bundestag.
