President Hassan Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran is going to leave Tehran for Astana on Saturday to attend the first science and technology summit of OIC (the Organization of Islamic Cooperation). He is making the trip upon the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart.
“During this two-day visit, President Rouhani will meet withsome heads of states including Kazakh president,” said Parviz Esmaili, the head of communications department at president’s office, recounting the other agenda of the visit in addition to attending and addressing the summit. “Mr. President will discuss bilateral relations and the most important regional and international issues in his meetings with some heads of states.”
