The 12th rouhnd of Bled Strategic Forum, a leading conference in Central and South East Europe was launched on Monday, September 4.
This year’s conference will see more than a thousand participants including government officials and authorities, ministers, diplomats, members of parliament, directors of regional and international organizations, representatives from startups and experts from more than 70 countries in the world. This conference will last for two days.
In the opening ceremony, Slovenian President Borut Bahor, Prime Minister Miro Cerar and Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec gave their speech, pointing to the challenges facing the ever-changing world such as climate change and security threats, They also discussed the future of European Union and the need for alignment.
Morteza Darzi Razmani, Iranian envoy who was present in this conference, discussed mutual relations and regional and international developments with some of the officials, businessmen and researchers.
In 2006, the Bled Strategic Forum was launched with a vision to bring together decision-makers and influential figures from different fields to encourage open debate on contemporary political, security and development challenges and to search for new ideas and solutions.
