According to al-Manar, Hezbollah of Lebanon lashed out at ‘lethal silence’ of international community and the so called ‘human rights’ advocates’ over the carnage of Muslims in Myanmar by the Burmese army.
“Hezbollah denounces the crimes committed against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar which have victimized thousands of people and displaced tens of thousands,” reads the statement released by Hezbollah on Monday.
The communique wonders why the crimes did not make the advocates of human rights in the world to take a measure. The text calls the Burmese Muslims as the victims of an international collusion against them.
The statement raps ‘the arrogant system of the world’ for turning a blind eye over a ‘genocide and undermining of the rights of women and children’.
Hezbollah’s statement refers to what has been relayed by the media from the horrific scenes in Rakhin province of Myanmar and asserts that the crimes show to what extent the rulling government of Myanmar is holding grudge against the Muslim minority in the western part of Myanmar.
The announcement accuses the Burmese government of benefitting from arms and supports provided by ‘the Zionist regime of Israel’..
