TEHRAN, Sep. 01 (MNA) – Ayatollah Emami Kashani said the philosophy of Hajj was awakening of the Islamic world urging heads of Islamic countries to observe interests of Muslims and alleviate their burdens.

Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammed Emami-Kashani made the remarks while addressing Eid al-Adha prayers held today morning in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

He, while referring to religious verses and narrations on the virtue of Eid al-Adha, said “the occasions builds up the lesson that all matters all in the hands of Almighty God who the most potent entity and thus we shall serve His religion by eliminating sufferings of people.”

Touching upon the Leader’s statement on Hajj rituals, the cleric said Ayatollah Khamenei’s message was that the ultimate goal of Hajj was awakening of the Islamic world and that the Islamic Ummah had to urge heads of their countries to meet interests of Muslims and resolve ongoing barriers.

“The world of arrogance is after killing Muslims and is in the midst of dividing and wasting their power; the Zionists and their agents have unfortunately caused trouble for Islamic world, and it remains the duty of the Ummah to demand a resolution to these difficulties by their governments,” he underlined.

Emami Kashani touched upon the corruption caused by arrogant powers in the Muslim world adding “global arrogance has left no security for Muslims by targeting their unity as it has created divisions among them through economic pressures.”

The cleric stated that all nations were required to raise the issue of actions taken by the Zionist regime and its supporters during Hajj rituals; “intellectuals, elites, and writers throughout the Muslim world need to address the demands and interests of the Muslim world.”

Ayatollah Emami Kashani pointed to situation of people in Palestine, Syria and Yemen and other Islamic countries asserting “the Islamic world should demand the governments to put an end to these issues and problems. It remains the duty of all nations and governments to secure the Islamic world in all matters.”
