Speaking at his inauguration ceremony at Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Amir Hatami congratulated the occasion of National Defense Industry Day adding “today, Iran owes its authority in defense industry to hard-working professionals, former DMs as well as sincere and committed staff of the Ministry who have spared no effort during the past four decades.
He described the term of DM Dehghan as a distinguished and glorious period explaining that “over the past four years, Iran reached its objective of boosting deterrence power and backing armed forces.”
The official later appreciated the trust put in him by the Leader, the President and MPs expressing hope that, with assistance of the Almighty God, all objectives pursued by the Islamic Republic of Iran will be realized.
Amir Hatami reiterated that all policies set at the time of ex-DM Dehghan will be continued adding “more efforts will be made to advance missile, defense, air and land capabilities in a bid to promote power and authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Stressing the support for the Resistance Front and IRGC Quds Force Commander Maj. Gen. Ghasem Soleimani, the Iranian defense minister said his Ministry would relentlessly continue its impartial support for IRGC, the Army and the Law Enforcement Force in defense and missile arenas in addition to paying attention to livelihood of employed and retired Armed Forces staff.
