The Iraq Interior Minister Qasim al-Araji, who has been visiting Iran in recent days, arrived in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province, on Tuesday for a pilgrimage to Imam Reza's holy shrine.
He was warmly received by the governor of Khorasan Razavi, upon his arrival to Mashhad.
Qasim al-Araji also traveled to Qom on Monday.
He met with his Iranian counterpart Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli on Sunday in Tehran, signing a joint MoU for the trip to Karbala during Arbaeen pilgrimage.
