TEHRAN, Aug. 11 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on his official Twitter account on Friday that the US president has always been after nullifying the nuclear agreement.

"POTUS always wanted to kill JCPOA. To avoid isolation, he's trying to blame it on Iran. Bad faith on top of US violating the letter and spirit," Zarif made the remarks after the US President Donald Trump claimed on Thursday that Iran was not “living up to the spirit” of the JCPOA saying it was a "horrible agreement."

“I don't think Iran is in compliance. I don't think they're living up to the spirit of the agreement,” Trump said at a golf club in New Jersey.

In his tweet, Zarif holds that Trump has always been after killing the agreement and to avoid the isolation resulted from scrapping the deal, he [Trump] is trying to put the blame on Iran.
