Brig. Gen. Kayoumars Heidari announced this Wednesday morning when speaking to the press highlighting the National Army Day (coinciding April 18; celebrated generally April 19); "a new production line to manufacture armor tanks in Masjed Soleiman, Isfahan's 'Fath' and 'Nasr' manufacturers (armored vehicles), helicopter production line, and Isfahan's vehicle spare parts production line will be operative by the fourth quarter of 2017," he told the press.
"The private sector had been a contractor in providing the Army Ground Forces with trailer manufacturing production line," said the commander. "Ground Forces now enjoys Rapid Reaction Force (RRF) which will be fully operative later in the year; about the military drills, Forces systematically view the drills as training sections, where all tactics and the logistics participate in a replicated battle to meet active threats through drawing upon fully indigenous achievements," Heidari added.
Commander also said the Forces had been permanently busy in surveillance of all threats, working to meet them through designing new tools which help the Forces in the mission; "thus, Forces has by now achieved quite a fame as a major bub of ground battle weapons and armored vehicles," he concluded.
