The cooperation agreement was signed between Iranian Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and social welfare and German Savings Banks Association (DSGV) in a bid to help develop and expand financing of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises of Iran and to strengthen friendly relations and bolster bilateral ties and exchange positive experiences in the same field.
The joint project covers workshops, seminars, management training to bank clerks, advising on procedures, business processes, job network management, mapping a financing system for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as recommendation on related policies.
Iran’s Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Isa Mansouri said during the MoU-signing ceremony that “as of last year, new comprehensive programs were launched in the employment sector while the new year, dubbed as ‘Year of Production and Employment’, provides further opportunities in this regard.”
“One component of job creation is to create financial systems and target businesses inside the country,” stressed the official pointing to the need for new methods one being reinvigoration of relations with other countries.
In the same line, German Savings Banks Association marked one venue for financing as the body held training courses though relevant human resources training programs are scheduled to be organized in both Iran and Germany.
At another part of his remarks, the Iranian official touched upon employment prospects stating “the government spares no effort to put an end to recession and the new Iranian year seems to offer good prospects in this regard given the economic growth and greater involvement of people.”
“The special employment program will be implemented with particular attention to the Leader’s guidelines in addition to exploiting experiences of other countries,” he concluded.
