TEHRAN, Mar. 08 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will leave for Qatar Wednesday afternoon to hold talks with Qatari officials, FM spokesman Bahram Ghasemi announced.

Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled for a one-day visit to Qatar this afternoon during which he will hold talks with his counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as well as the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

During Zarif’s previous visit to Qatar in August 2015, the two sides conferred on expansion of bilateral ties, closer regional and international cooperation and fight against terrorism and Takfiri groups.
