The conference will cover various topics including: Rock Physics; Seismic and Microseismic investigations; Laboratory and in-situ testing; Analytical methods and Constitutive Models; one-D,3D and 4D Mechanical Earth Models; Geomechanics applications in Exploration; Geomechanics applications in Drilling; Geomechanics applications in Production; and Special Topics in Petroleum Geomechanics.
A number of workshops will also be held on the sidelines of the conference on petroleum Geomechanics with the cooperation of European Association of Geological Sciences Europe Engineers (EAGE).
Key speakers at the event include AEGE board member Dr. Jorg Herwanger, ISRM Vice-President for South America Prof. Sergio Fontoura, Prof. Ali Pak from Sharif Uni. of Technology and Product Development Manager Dr. Mohammadreza Saberi.
The second Petroleum Geomechanics Conference is scheduled for 24-27 January, 2017, in Tehran.
