TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (MNA) – Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli argued for the nuclear deal of Iran-5+1, JCPOA, in the face of internal criticism against the agreement.

“The post-sanctions environment provided good facilities for the easy interaction of domestic producers and Iranian good exporters with international markets,” said Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli late on Thursday in Arak city, the capital of Markazi province of Iran. He was addressing the 33rd meeting of Resistant Economy Forum.

He described the JCPOA (The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed by the foreign ministers of Iran and 5+1 in Vienna on July 14, 2015) “the fruit of Iranian Leader’s support and President Rouhani’s perseverance.”

Rahmani Fazli rejected the idea that the agreement meant trusting the enemies and asserted that “it was the result of support, effort, and resistance and the rest of the path should be persevered."

“Whenever the enemies feel that the nation has abandoned its support, they would exercise more enmity against Iran,” affirmed the Iranian minister, adding the JCPOA has had advantages for the people and the country and these advantages have strengthened Iran in the international arena.

He said that it should not be depicted as the efforts were with no win and the whole JCPOA story has been a total failure. "The reality is that we proved our determination to the world and cleared the difficulties and obstacles.”

“The rise of Iran’s oil export from 1 million barrels a day to 2 million barrels a day has been the result of government’s efforts and initiatives in economic and foreign affairs areas,” articulated the Interior Minister.

During the same address, he touched upon the resistant economy policies which enjoy Ayatollah Khamenei’s support and affirmed that implementing the policies is one of the top priorities of the current administration. He invited the people and officials to be united in this cause which he described a strategic road map for the country.

“The administration is determined to counter the economic shocks which are time to time emanated by the enemies as a means of psychological warfare campaign against Iran,” underlined Mr. Rahmani Fazli.
