TOKYO, Dec. 08 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe exchanged views on issues of mutual interests in a meeting on Thursday.

The two sides discussed international and regional developments as well as expansion of bilateral relations.

Zarif left Beijing, where he attended the Iran-China Business Forum 2016, on December 6, and arrived in Tokyo on the last leg of his three-nation tour to Asia that started on December 3.

Kicking off his tour, Zarif first flied to India to attend the 6th Ministerial Conference of Heart of Asia Process held ion 4 December.

The Iranian FM will leave Tokyo for Tehran on Thursday afternoon.
