TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (MNA) – Iranian FM Zarif, heading a high ranking economy and trade delegation, arrived in Slovakia after his visit to Romania and meetings with the top officials of the Eastern European country.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, arrived in Slovak capital city of Bratislava early on Thursday, at the head of a high-ranking economy and trade delegation.  

After visiting Bucharest in the first leg of his Eastern European tour, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, left Romania for Slovakia late on Wednesday.

In Bucharest, the top diplomat of Iran met with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis in presidential palace after attending the Iran-Romania economic conference and Conference on Fighting Extremism and Terrorism. He also met, in Bucharest, with his Romanian counterpart Lazăr Comănescu and the Speaker of Romania’s Chamber of Deputies, Florin Iordache.
