TEHRAN, Oct. 24 (MNA) – A Parliamentary delegation of Iran, led by Alaeddin Boroujerdi, has arrived in Paris on Monday.

The first meeting of the delegation was with Secretary General for Foreign Affairs and International Development of France Christian Masset which was held in Iran’s embassy in Paris. Masset believed that Islam was part of and a reality in French society and that France would welcome a moderate Islam which would recognize peaceful symbiosis of different religions.

President of French National Assembly Claude Bartolone also received Iranian delegation, who also visited Imam Khomeini’s residence when he was in exile before Revolution of 1979 in small city of Neauphle-le-Château to commemorate the late founder of the Revolution.

The delegation has as its members Mohammad Mehdi Boroumandi, Seyed Ghasem Jasemi, and Siamak MoreSedegh, the Jewish member of the Parliament.
