TEHRAN, Oct. 23 (MNA) – President’s Parliamentary deputy has said Parliament will hold session next week to hear President Rouhani’s nominations’ programs and to approve or reject the nominations.

Hosseinali Amiri was quoted by Iran’s state TV broadcaster IRIB as saying that the upcoming week would be a fateful day or a day of success for President Rouhani’s nominations for three ministries currently run by caretakers. Ministries of Sports and Youth, Education, and Culture are the first in a series of reforms and reshuffles by President Rouhani.

“In Sunday’s session of the Parliament, I believe the general mentality towards Rouhani’s nominations was positive and it is highly likely that all three nominees will receive votes of confidence,” Amiri added.

According to the law, Parliament would hold session to address President’s nominations for Cabinet positions a week after president communicates his final list to the speaker of the Parliament.
