Library International Film Festival takes off on Friday at Golecha Cinemain the Pink City by lighting of 1100 lamps to spread the message of Understanding Cinema. The festival is being organized by the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) and JIFF Trust which is in the process of setting up a multi-dimensional biggest and most secure International Film Library in the Jaipur.
The inaugural function of the unique festival will have two sessions. The first session will be held at the open ground of the Golecha Cinema at 5.30 in the evening by lighting 1100 lambs to spread film education among the masses.
The second session – the formal opening ceremony -will start half an hour later at 6.00 PM in the Tivoli screen theater of the Golecha Cinema.
The chief guest of the ceremony would be Mrs. Roli Singh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, who is presently holding the office of Pricipal Secretary, Tourism, Art and Culture Department of the Government of Rajasthan.
The Guest of honour of the opening ceremony would be former Rajasthan Minister Dr. Chandrabhan. The special guest would be Mr. Niranjan Arya (IAS). Former Chairman of JIFF Red Carpet Rajiv Arora, Preeti Saboo of FICCI Flo Chairman Rajasthan, Mr. Suresh Mishra, Convener of Jaipur Marathon, Mr. Mukesh Verma, Income Tax Officer, S. K. Chaudhary, Chairmasn of Shankara College of Groups, Dr. G. L. Sharma, Cardiologist, Dr. Malati, Mr.N.K. Gupta Chairman of Mangalam Group, Mr. Sudhir Kasliwal, Art connoisseur,Mr. Ish Madhu Talwar, writer and journalist, Mr. Ranvir Singh, theater personality, Mr. Sagar Sharwan, film actor, Mr. R. S. Tyagi, Deputy Directorgeneral, Doordaeshan, Dr. S.K. Munjal, superintendent, Saket Hospital, Mr. AjayKala, spokesman of JJS, Mr. K. C. Maloo, chairman of Veena Group, Mr.Nand Bharadwaj, Mr. Ikram Rajasthani, both writers of repute will be other guests.
Several administrative officers,politicians, businessmen, other professionals, JIFF Board members beside Cinema lovers and media persons would also be present on the occasion.
