TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (MNA) – Iran’s Health Minister Hassan Hashemi heading a delegation left Tehran early Tue. for Finnish capital Helsinki for expansion of bilateral ties.

Hashemi is expected to visit academic and treatment centers in Helsinki and sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of research and education.

The Iranian minister will hold talks with Finland’s Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services, Juha Rehula, followed by the signing of an MoU on joint cooperation by the two ministers.

Hashemi is also scheduled to visit Finland’s National Institute for Health and Welfare, Docrates Cancer Center, Helsinki University Hospotial (HUH), Finland’s Institute for Molecular Medicine (FIMM), as well as Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
