TEHRAN, Aug. 26 (MNA) – Mohsen Rezaie, the Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council, elaborated on the final objectives of the cross-regional players of the Middle East in a speech delivered in the north of Iran on Friday.

“The ISIL captured a pilot, put him into a cage, poured gas on him, and set him on fire alive, while the core of our Revolution is resistance and it is pro-peace,” said Mohsen Rezaei, the Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council, on Friday in one of northern cities of Iran at a commemoration ceremony of those killed in action, trying to draw a contrast between the Islam of the Islamic Revolution and the Islam of the ISIL.

He described the enemies of the Resistance as the wrong front who have lost in human war and their final goal is to fight with the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

“The head of this movement is Al-Saud and the US is the main supporter of it,” asserted the Iranian official, “while the US does not want to fight directly, the Saudis have been put forward and the expenses are also paid from Saudi’s coffer.”

War with Muslims, according to Mohsen Rezaie, is the final goal of the enemies of Iran and he highlighted that while most of the armies of the region have been dismantled, the Armed Forces of Iran are continuing strongly.

“The final objective of those set to topple Assad is to counter Iran and they have not reached this goal yet,” underlined the former commander of the IRCG.
