“Iran, in line with the framework favored by the presidents of both countries of Iran and China, is willing to expand all-out relations with China, especially in areas of economic cooperation and infrastructures,” said Ali Tayyebnia, Iran's Economy Minister, at the joint economic commission of Iran and China in Beijing on Tuesday.
He asserted that the meeting was a kind of implementation of the agreements to clear the hurdles ahead of bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Beijing.
“Many good opportunities of cooperation have been seized and there are still many untouched areas that should be worked on by good organization and scheduling,” said Commerce Minister of China, Gao Hucheng, for his part.
The Chinese official voiced content with the removal of anti-Iran sanctions in 2015, saying that the event led to good political and economic changes in Iran.
The 16th session of Iran-China joint economic commission, co-chaired by Iran's Economy Minister, Ali Tayyebnia, and the Commerce Minister of China, Gao Hucheng, was attended by Iran’s Ambassador to China Ali Asghar Khalaji, along with representatives from Oil Ministry, banks, Iran’s Parliament, and private sector investors.
The Tuesday meeting was wrapped up with an agreement signed between the two sides by Tayyebnia and Hucheng.
