TEHRAN, Jul. 24 (MNA) – Speaker of the Parliament has offered condolences to his Afghan counterpart Wolesi Jirga Speaker Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi on the occasion of a terrorist suicide attack which targeted religious and ethnic minority Hazara.

Ali Larijani's message also condemned the terrorist blast which killed over 80 people and wounded dozens of others during a peaceful rallies organized by minority Hazara. "The terrorist explosion was a source of grief for me, since it killed and wounded innocent people seeking civilian demands by peaceful means; terrorist groups have spread around the world in unprecedented way and by this means, enemies of humanity try to instill the minds and hearts of people with horror and insecurity; any confrontation with this fact remains a prime objective for all," said the message.

"Our friend and neighbor Afghan nation had been inflicted with Takfirist terrorists' plights; however, they had not lost their faith in their resistance against the vicissitudes of a life which had betrayed them of bright days," Larijani's message added. "I, on behalf of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) condemn the terrorist blast as cruel act of insanity by Takfirists and offer condolences to the families of the victims as well as Afghan government and people," it concluded.
