TEHRAN, Jul. 18 (MNA) – Head of the AEOI Ali Akbar Salehi said few people believed Iran’s nuclear case would be someday left behind; it was a miracle.

Delivering a speech during a ceremony attended by deputies and managers of the Atomic Energy Organization on Sunday, Salehi noted Iran was accused of non-peaceful activities, now the case is closed;"it seems like a miracle."

Salehi pointed to the anniversary of the implementation of JCPOA, saying “thank God that ordained the closure of fabricated nuclear file; this is very pleasant for those who were present since the beginning of the evolution of this case through its end."

“The case is behind us now; while Iran was accused of non-peaceful activities, the case was closed; few people believed this to happen and many friends were bothered to take nuclear issue out of international disputes,” Salehi asserted.

Salehi added that French officials of International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project welcomed Iranian delegation and the appointment of Babazadegan as a representative of the organization for the project.

If you ask me what the most important project of AEOI is, I would say ITER and fusion, Salehi underlined. “It would take 40 years to bear fruit, however, if current generation avoid from accomplishing this, we would never be forgiven.”
