TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – Iran’s Oil Min. Bijan Zanganeh will deliver the key note presentation at Petroleum Conference Iran 2016.

The conference uniquely has the active engagement of all seven of Iran’s major oil, gas and petrochemical associations.

Petroleum Conference – Iran 2016 is an important three-day conference and exhibition that will deliver updates on the current commercial projects and insights into the investment opportunities presented by Iran’s petroleum sector.

The event will take place October 01-03 at IRIB International Conference Centre, Tehran and will build on the successful launch of the new Iran petroleum contracts (IPC) at the Tehran Summit last November, which was attended by more than 1,700 delegates.

This year’s program features a number of high level speakers including Iran’s Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh, Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari, Conference President Seyed Hamid Hossaini, Head of Oil Contracts Restructuring Committee Seyed Mehdi Hosseini, Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Amir Hossein Zamaninia and Managing Director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marzieh Shah-Daei.

Other prominent figured to attend the event comprise Deputy Oil Minister and Head of South Pars Public Relations office Hamidreza Araghi, Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Abbas Kazemi, Deputy Oil Minister for Research and Technology Mohammad Reza Moghaddam, Deputy Industry Minister for International Trade Mohammad Khazaei as well as General Director of OPEC Affairs and Ministry or Petroleum Energy Assemblies Mehdi Asali.

In addition to the high level speakers, delegate workshops will run concurrently with the content led by a distinguished steering committee made up of industry leaders. Content will reflect the new spirit of cooperation that is required to help meet Iran’s petroleum sector ambitions – largely to develop investment, transfer of technology and increase exports through partnership among the Iranian and international industries, in order to achieve Middle East’s top ranking country in line with Iran’s 1404 (2025) Vision.

Integrated with the event, a world-class exhibition will allow companies to showcase their products and services directly to their target audience and key international pavilions are being organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the South Africa Petroleum Industries Association and the Energy Industries Council (UK).
