TEHRAN, Jul. 12 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Zarif has departed for Astana, Kazakh capital, to participate in meeting of Caspian Sea littoral states’ foreign ministers.

Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported that the meeting will address the Sea’s long-overdue legal regime as the most central issue of all Caspian Sea meetings.

Foreign ministers of Republic of Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Iran will sit in the 6th such meetings in Astana to decide also about decisions made in 2014 Astrakhan meeting and a new summit session also to be held in Kazakhstan. 

Zarif’s delegation include his Asia-Oceana Affairs Deputy Ebrahim Rahimpour and a number of legal and political experts of the foreign ministry.
