TEHRAN, Jun. 29 (MNA) –  Iran’s junior national volleyball team will take part in the 18th Asian Men’s U20 Volleyball Championship to be held in Taiwan.

The Iranian squad is preparing for the 18th edition of Asian Men’s U20 Volleyball Championship which will be hosted by Taiwan from July 9-17.

Iran’s coach Behrouz Attaei has released the names of 12 players to represent the country’s outfit at the Asian tournament.

Rasoul Aghcheli, Ali Ramezani, Aliasghar Mojarad, Mahmoud Rasouli, Esmaeil Talebi Khameneh, Tohid Samadi, Tayeb Einisamrin, Amir Hossein Esfandiar, Javad Karimi, Mirbabak Mousavi, Akbar Velayati and Esmaeil Mosafer comprise Iran’s team at the event.

The country’s team will leave for Chinese Taipei on Friday July 11 through Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA).

The Asian Junior Volleyball Championship is a sport competition for national teams under 20 years, currently held biannually and organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).
