Given the interest of the two countries to further expand mutual relations in the framework of the implementation of roadmap for development of bilateral ties, new round of political talks was held on Thursday, chaired by Ian's Deputy Foreign Minister for American and European Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi and his Swiss counterpart in Bern of Switzerland.
During the talks, in addition to Foreign Ministry officials, some figures from justice and counter-terrorism fields were present to review the bilateral relations, regional developments and cooperation in the field of justice and human rights in three groups.
The two sides held talks which led to closer views about the areas of interest.
Senior officials of the two countries discussed and exchange views on issues including political and economic relations, regional issues, combating terrorism and Islamophobia, the implementation process of JCPOA especially in the field of solving banking barriers and the ways to help facilitate judicial cooperation.
At the end of the talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with the process of constructive dialogue in various fields and underlined the need to continue the talks and to provide grounds for the implementation of agreements reached in the course of bilateral dialogue to provide further development of relations in various dimensions.
