TEHRAN, Jun. 16 (MNA) – IRGC Ground Forces commander has said its forces exchanged fires with two terrorist groups in northwestern border regions of West Azerbaijan province.

Brig. Gen. Mohammad Pakpour told reporters on Thursday that Hamzeh Headquarters forces had bought against two terrorist groups in Oshnaviyeh; “IRGC intelligence found out that the groups were planning sabotage acts this side of the borders and thus correctly were targeted and destroyed; during fire exchange, majority of the group members were killed,” he added.

“We will pursue and destroy to full all their affiliated groups acting in the northwest to land a heavy blow on terrorists and to remind them that our intelligence operatives are closely watching their activities and will never let them free in their encroachments and acts of sabotage; no terrorist group will ever be tolerated,” said the commander.
