TEHRAN, Jun. 11 (MNA) – Valad directed by Amir Abbas Rabiee got his way to the Open Film Festival of Bangladesh.

Produced by Soureh Film Club, Iranian short film Valad recounts the story of a new guest at a small hospital in Gaza where every part of it is destroyed under bombardments. It is a short story of a mother struggling with child-killing bombs.

Valad has so far won numerous awards at various festivals and at its latest international presence could grab the title of Best Short Film at the Italian Tracce Cinematografiche Film Fest.

International Open Film Festival (IOFF) is an initiative to explore the film with no border and it's an independent film festival. International jury from different countries will score the films along with audiences online. The event will provide BEST AWARD for each category, Certificates, Laurels and Statuette to the winners.
