TEHRAN, Jun. 09 (MNA) – Iran’s Embassy to Ankara urged Iranians who are visiting the country to avoid attending crowded sites and events.

The embassy warns Iranian nationals residing in Turkey or visiting it to avoid crowds and follow the rules and warnings issued by the host country’s security authorities.

“Consular sections of Iran’s Embassy in Ankara, Istanbul, Erzurum and Trabzon are ready to help Iranian nationals if necessary,” reads part of the statement.

Turkey has been the target of several terrorist attacks in recent months.
