TEHRAN, Jun. 04 (MNA) – Labor Minister Rabiei, heading an Iranian delegation, will leave for Switzerland to take part in the 2016 International Labor Conference (ILC).

Leading a delegation comprising representatives of employers and workers’ groups, Iranian Minister of Cooperative, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei will depart Tehran for the Swiss capital of Geneva to participate in the 150th ILC.

In addition to delivering speeches at the conference, Iran’s Rabiei is also scheduled to meet and confer with a number of his counterparts.

The 2016 International Labor Conference (ILC) is underway from 30 May - 10 June 2016 at the United Nations European Headquarters in Geneva.

The member States of the ILO meet at the International Labour Conference, held every year in Geneva, Switzerland, in the month of June.

Each member State is represented by a delegation consisting of two government delegates, an employer delegate, a worker delegate, and their respective advisers.

Every delegate has the same rights, and all can express themselves freely and vote as they wish.
