TEHRAN, May 30 (MNA) – Iranian Deputy FM Amir-Abdollahian said supporters of terrorists have severely damaged themselves in addition to threatening regional and global security.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian pointed to Fallujah liberation mission saying “had it not been for Tehran’s assistance or effective measures of Iraqi and Syrian people in the fight against terrorism, there would exist no safe place in the region of west Asia.”

“In case of serious determination to combat terrorism, there would certainly remain no room for terrorists to survive,” he continued.

The Iranian deputy FM went on to note that “unfortunately, state and non-state supporters of terrorism as well as the parties who exploit the crisis in their own benefit are adversely affecting themselves in addition to threatening regional and international security.”

“The Islamic Republic of Iran deems it as necessary to focus on a political solution, serious fight against terrorism as well as on multilateral regional cooperation,” concluded Amir-Abdollahian.
